Hit-and-Miss Engine

This is a vertical one-cylinder engine rated at one horsepower. It is a gasoline engine. This is a first for me as I have always built steam engines. It gets its name from the unique ignition system which will stop and start the engine as load demands require. I am currently looking for an ignition system and some plan drawings to complete the engine rebuild. HELP!!!
